LIZ GALLO CAPPELLO, Founder and CEO

Hailing from Massachusetts, Liz traveled throughout Central America before falling in love with the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. Over several years she has developed her knowledge and appreciation of this rich paradise through her work in the tourism industry. Liz served as the guest relations liaison at a beachfront eco-lodge in Panama before traveling to Costa Rica to become the reservations manager of a popular hostel. She has also served as a surf camp coordinator, a property manager of a luxury Airbnb, and most recently, as the operations manager of a large tour agency. She has extensive experience with staffing, booking, and managing one-of-a-kind adventures and custom itineraries for groups large and small. Her contacts and reputation within the tight-knit tourism and hospitality community enable her to attract the best certified guides, reliable and comfortable transportation, private chef services, access to some of the area’s top-rated boat charters, photography and videography services, and connections to many little-known exclusive adventures. Liz oversees all aspects of each itinerary and tour so that her clients can relax, enjoy their time in paradise, and fall in love with Costa Rica!

 

MATTEO GALLO, Founding Partner

Matteo Gallo was born and raised in Tamarindo, Costa Rica to Italian parents and has worked in tourism his whole life, helping his parents run the first dive shop in the area and also assisting in their top-rated hotels. He has served as a mate on several of the boats in our private charter portfolio, and is a founding partner of the Costa Group. Matteo also has a love for preparing delicious food, with a nod to both his Italian and Costa Rican heritage. He has begun to offer private chef services in the area.

LISA CAPPELLO, Administrative Team Leader

A frequent visitor to Costa Rica, Lisa has a background in graphic design, marketing and the arts. She lives in Massachusetts with her partner and cute pets. She loves to travel, and has been fortunate to be able to return to Costa Rica regularly. She often brings a fresh set of eyes to our business as the only U.S. based member of our team. She knows that attention to detail is so important in planning any trip, and she is ready to assist in making every vacation in Costa Rica a memorable one. She is also responsible for developing and maintaining our website, as well as keeping our social media content relevant and informative.
