A Guanacaste favorite, Diamante Eco Adventure Park at beautiful Playa Matapalo offers a day of thrill-seeking excitement with zip lining, hanging bridges, private beach access with water activities, along with botanical gardens, an animal sanctuary, ATV tours, horseback riding, and more. The park also features stunning ocean views.

 

Enjoy breakfast at home and be ready for your private chauffeur and bilingual certified tour guide to pick you up at 8:00am. You will be driven in a spacious and comfortable vehicle for about an hour, during which your guide will share information about your day and the beautiful region you will be visiting. After checking in at the Welcome Center, you will be assigned your schedule for ziplining on Diamante’s state-of-the-art mile-long oceanview Superman. Its dual lines allow you to zip next to your family and friends. Tours depart every half hour from 9am to 3pm (if you have a tour preference, let us know in advance). You can also experience a 30-foot free fall Quick Jump Bungee, and cross a hanging bridge over crocodiles below.

 

The Animal Sanctuary at Diamante is one of the most beautiful wildlife education centers in Costa Rica. And the Botanical Garden boasts fruit trees, flowers and plants, along with a replica of a farmhouse common in the area 100 years ago. The Traditional House offers a guided hands-on experience with sugar cane, coffee, and chocolate.

 

At Hammock Beach you can enjoy snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking. Or sit back and relax in hanging chairs and hammocks. ATV tours and horseback riding are available for an additional fee. Note: select these at checkout to ensure your spot, as these popular activities fill up. 

 

A buffet lunch at the Welcome Center is included between 11am and 3pm. The park closes at 4:30, at which point your guide and driver will bring you back to your lodgings, where we imagine you and your party will sleep well after such an exciting day.

 

Who is this tour for?

The Diamante Eco Adventure Park is perfect for families or groups, especially those who love outdoor adventures. With so many activities to choose from, there is something for everyone. It is suitable for people of moderate physical abilities. Degree of Difficulty: Easy to Harder. General walking, trail walking and hanging bridges, ziplining, horseback riding, water activities. Members of your group can opt out of any of the activities.

 

Your day includes:

• Door-to-door spacious and comfortable transportation with your private chauffeur and bilingual naturalist guide on board. Your day begins with an 8:00am pick-up. 

• An hour-long drive to Diamante Eco Adventure Park at Playa Matapalo.

• Activities: Zip-lining, hanging bridges, 30-foot Quick Jump (optional!), Animal Sanctuary, Botanical Gardens, cultural demonstrations, beach activities (paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling).

• ATV Tours and Horseback Riding (for additional fee with advance sign-up)

• Buffet lunch

• A safe return to your lodgings with an arrival between 5:30-6:00pm, in time for another beautiful Costa Rican sunset.

What to bring: Good walking shoes, water shoes if desired, bathing suit and towel and change of clothes, sunscreen, hats, bug repellent, cameras, binoculars, snacks (especially if traveling with children), motion sickness medication if needed (our Costa Rican roads can be bumpy).
